Description

These upgraded hot dog sliders are a crowd-friendly recipe with just enough swagger to make people hover around the pan.

Salty, smoky, sweet, and creamy all in one bite. These hot dog slider bites are the ultimate game-day snack, party appetizer, or “oops I ate six” situation.

Crispy dogs, buttery toasted buns, smoky-sweet bacon jam, creamy mayo, and crumbled goat cheese—all built fast on a hot griddle. Minimal prep. Maximum damage.

Instructions

Griddle Setup

  1. Heat griddle to medium-high on one side, low on the other. Create two zones: one for searing, one for warming.

  2. 1. Prep the Dogs - use slotdog to make criss-cross pattern on hot dogs. Slice hot dogs into 2–3 inch pieces (slider bite size). Place on griddle.
  3. 2. Add hot dogs to griddle and let cook undisturbed until blistered and caramelized. Roll and sear all sides, about 4–5 minutes total. Move to the warm zone.
  4. 3. Toast the Buns - lightly butter the tops of the slider buns. Toast on the griddle until golden and lightly crisp, 30–60 seconds.
  5. 4. Warm the Bacon Jam by spooning into a small griddle-safe pan or foil tray. Warm gently on the cooler side—don’t cook it, just loosen it.
  6. 5. Assemble - add a hot dog piece. Spoon warm bacon jam over the top. Drizzle with mayo and top with goat cheese crumbles.
