Description

Juicy seasoned chicken is smashed and seared until golden, then topped with melty mozzarella, rich marinara, and a sprinkle of Parmesan for that signature Italian-inspired flavor. Served on soft slider buns, these mini sandwiches are perfect for game days, parties, or anytime you want big flavor in a smaller bite. Crispy, cheesy, and packed with comfort-food vibes, they’re guaranteed to be a crowd favorite.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Heat your griddle to medium-high (375–400°F). Lightly oil the surface.
  2. Divide the chicken mixture into 8–12 equal portions and roll into loose balls.
  3. Place the chicken balls on the hot griddle. Use a spatula or burger press to smash them into thin patties. Cook for 3–4 minutes until the bottoms are golden and crispy.
  4. Flip the patties and cook another 3–4 minutes, until fully cooked (165°F internal temp).
  5. Spoon marinara over each patty, then top with mozzarella and a sprinkle of Parmesan.
  6. Let the cheese melt (about 1–2 minutes). You can tent with a dome if needed.
  7. Butter the slider buns and toast them cut-side down on the griddle until golden.
  8. Place each cheesy chicken patty on a bun. Top with the other half of the bun.
  9. Serve immediately while the cheese is melty and the edges are crispy.

Note

Overlap patties to fit slider buns - the messier, the better!
