Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Make filling.

In a small bowl, add cream cheese, strawberries, and honey. Mix together.

  2. Assemble french toast.

Lay out 2 pieces of bread. Apply filling to each and top with another piece of bread. (Essentially making a sandwich.)

  3. Make egg wash.

In a shallow dish, add one egg and scramble. Add milk, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla and mix all together.

  4. Dip bread in egg wash, coating each side. Do NOT soak the bread.

  5. Preheat griddle at medium heat. Place bread on griddle and cook until golden brown. Flip, and cook the other side until it's also golden brown. (About 3 minutes on each side.) Pull and plate.

  6. Dust French toast with powdered sugar, add sliced strawberry on top, and drizzle with syrup.
