Description

These pancake flowers are the sweetest breakfast made on the Blackstone eSeries griddle. A fresh strawberry slice is placed right in the center, while pancake batter is squeezed around it to create flower petals that cook up golden and fluffy on the griddle. This fun and creative breakfast is an easy way to turn simple pancakes into something extra special for the kids.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. 1. Turn on griddle to low heat (around 250 degrees).
  2. 2. Make pancake batter and add to squeeze bottle.
  3. 3. Slice strawberries - place a few on the griddle, with enough room to add batter around each.
  4. 4. Squeeze small circles of batter around the strawberry to simulate petals. Add batter on top of strawberry, too.
  5. 5. When the bubbles are popping, flip and cook thoroughly.
  6. 6. Remove from heat and plate. Sprinkle on powdered sugar and serve with syrup for dipping.
