If you like to throw down a delicious breakfast on Saturday morning, look no further. This stuffed French Toast can be made with or without the bananas, and is ooey-gooey amazing!
Preheat your griddle to medium heat. Apply Nutella spread to one side of the bread. Add slices of banana on top. Apply a thin layer of Nutella to the other piece of bread and assemble like a sandwich.
In a shallow dish, whisk egg, milk, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla. Dip both sides of sandwich in egg wash and apply directly to griddle.
Cook for about 4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Remove from griddle and plate.
Drizzle with desired amount of syrup and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
