Ingredients
    Marinade & Chicken
  • 2 chicken breasts (skinless)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • salt & pepper
  • Tzatziki
  • 1/2 cucumber (peeled)
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • dash garlic powder, salt & pepper
  • Gyro
  • 6 pieces of naan bread
  • 2 cup red leaf lettuce (shredded)
  • 1 tomato (diced)
  • 1/2 red onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese (crumbled)
Instructions
  1. Make chicken marinade.

In a large bowl add olive oil, yogurt, vinegar, garlic, oregano, and salt & pepper to taste. Mix together to combine.

  2. Add chicken to marinade, toss to coat. Cover and place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

  3. Make tzatziki sauce.

Peel the cucumber and use a spoon to scoop out all of the seeds. Finely dice the cucumber and add to a bowl. Add yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, dill, and add a dash of garlic powder, salt, & pepper. Mix until fully combined. Cover and refrigerate at least 20 minutes.

  4. Cook chicken.

Once chicken is done marinating, turn on griddle to medium-high heat. Add chicken to griddle and cook thoroughly.

  5. Warm naan bread on griddle and remove.

  6. Plate your gyros.

Spread tzatziki on naan, add chicken, lettuce, tomato, and onion. Sprinkle with feta, fold, and enjoy!
