Description

Grab your too-ripe bananas, your marshmallow fluff, and your mimosa - this is going to be your new most-requested addition to the menu.

Ingredients
  • 4 slices of brioche bread
  • 1 banana (very ripe, mashed)
  • marshmallow fluff
  • 1 egg (whisked)
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp Blackstone Snickerdoodle Seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • caramel sauce
  • flaky sea salt
Instructions
  1. Make egg wash.

Combine egg, milk, Snickerdoodle seasoning, and vanilla in a shallow baking dish. Set aside.

  2. Assemble french toast.

On 2 pieces of bread, spread mashed banana. On other 2 pieces, spread marshmallow fluff. Combine one slice with banana and one slice with marshmallow to make a sandwich. Cut off all crust and then cut in half, making 4 sandwiches total.

  3. Dip each sandwich in the egg wash, coating both sides of bread.

  4. Heat griddle to medium and cook french toast until both sides are golden brown.

  5. Remove french toast from griddle when done and line up on a large board or tray. Drizzle with caramel sauce and flaky sea salt. Serve warm.

Note

Blackstone Snickerdoodle Seasoning can be substituted for 1/4 tsp. cinnamon & 1/4 tsp. salt.
