Description

If you've never used a donut to make French toast before, this is your sign. Grab half a dozen because once you try it, there's no looking back.

Ingredients
  • 2 glazed donuts
  • 2 tbsp marshmallow fluff
  • 2 eggs (whisked)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • powdered sugar
  • chocolate sauce
Instructions
  1. 1
    Make egg wash.

Combine eggs, milk, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla in a dish.

  2. 2

Preheat griddle to medium-low heat. Slice donuts in half (similar to a hamburger bun). Dip donut halves in egg wash (do not soak), and place cut-side down on griddle.

  3. 3

Flip donuts after 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. The side of the donut with the glaze will caramelize, so watch closely to avoid burning.

  4. 4

Remove donuts from griddle and add marshmallow fluff to inside of one side. Stack other side of donut on top. Drizzle with chocolate sauce and dust with powdered sugar.
