Biscuits & gravy are a very popular cold-weather breakfast that everyone in the family will enjoy. Make sure to cover the biscuits as they brown so that they cook thoroughly.
Pre-heat griddle to medium. Add a large skillet to one side, on top of griddle, and preheat it.
Separate biscuits and add directly to griddle top. Cover and flip once golden brown on bottom.
Add sausage to skillet and brown. Add flour and mix. Add milk and stir periodically until you achieve a gravy-like texture. Add black pepper and stir.
Add 2 biscuits to plate and top with a generous amount of gravy.
